Tucked up for winter

I’ve not managed to get out in the car over the past month or so due to busy weekends and poor weather. I had a day off today so nipped over to have one last run out this year.

It was a sunny and dry day but bitterly cold – barely 3 degrees. Still the car started fine and we went out for a 20 mile run. By the end it was very cold and I think my nose had frozen!  Great fun though. Afterwards I packed a few moisture absorbers in and around the car and tucked it in under its cover. I doubt I’ll get out in it again for a few months now.

There’s a few things to do over the winter. I need a new battery and may attack the interior which is starting to look a little tatty and dated. I’d also like to get some new shocks & springs fitted and setup correctly but that may be a specialist job. The oil and filter is also due for changing. See you in the new year!
